Mattersey Hall itself is a large eighteenth century mansion in 14 acres of beautiful grounds. Today, the original mansion accommodates the Assemblies of God Administration Centre, the college’s Academic Department and the Teaching Faculty offices. Students and Short Course guests can be accommodated in the Residential Centre, which provides individual study bedrooms for over 90 students, double rooms with en-suite facilities for married couples, a TV/common room, conservatory and the main dining room, which serves lunch for all students, staff and guests each weekday. High-speed fibre-optic broadband has been installed at Mattersey and is available throughout the campus. Outside, in the summer, students can enjoy the open-air swimming pool, football pitch, volleyball and a grass tennis court.
The Teaching Centre houses well-equipped lecture rooms with multimedia facilities at ground-floor level, and a spacious worship chapel on the first floor, where the corporate devotional activities of the College take place, including Wednesday’s Main Event. Adjacent is the Research Centre – the college library – and the Heritage Centre, which houses the Donald Gee Archive: one of the world’s primary resources for the study of Pentecostal and Charismatic history and theology.
