A graduate of Mattersey Hall, Paul brings over thirty years of ministry experience to the college. He has served in significant pastorates in three nations and has been in Bible College leadership in both Australia and South Africa.

Paul holds both MTh and PhD degrees from the University of Wales. His doctoral studies have been primarily missiological, which is reflected by the growing commitment to missionary studies within Mattersey Hall’s curriculum. His doctoral studies have beeen in the area of developing training programmes and curricula for ministry training and leadership development.

His ministry has taken him to over fifty different nations. He is particularly committed to networking and is an inspirational speaker and leader. His passion is to enable people to reach their full potential and to facilitate men and women in discovering their call and ministry. He leads by example and with enthusiasm.

Paul teaches in several areas of the curriculum. He lives out one of his passions by teaching communication skills including preaching. Linked closely with this is a course on understanding the Bible and communicating its message in an authentic and contemporary way. Along with his wife, Carol, Paul facilitates an innovative Principal’s class. This is a course that follows an agenda rather than a curriculum. Third year students are offered a serious mentoring programme that helps transition them from College to ministry and life in the marketplace.
