Dr John Andrews

John is the college's Director of Training and serves on the Senior Leadership Team. He is also presently the Senior Minister of Rotherham New Life Christian Centre, in South Yorkshire, England, taking up the post in September 1997. He is a teacher with a passion to inspire and equip the Church to make God famous in their world. As well as ministering in the UK, John travels regularly to various nations of the world seeking to invest what he has, while he can.

Born in Belfast, Northern Ireland, John is married Dawn and together they have three children, Elaina, Simeon and Beth-Anne. He is a graduate of the Assemblies of God Bible College, Mattersey Hall. He holds a Masters degree in Pentecostal and Charismatic Studies from Sheffield University and a Doctorate from the University of Wales. He has also authored five books, Truthformation, Rest, Hope, Loved and Mission is Like a Box of Chocolates, published through ESB Resources. John’s hobbies include supporting his beloved football team Liverpool, listening to music, reading and watch great movies with his favourite movie of all time being It’s a Wonderful Life. He loves to eat and among his favourite food groups are, Chinese, Italian and CHOCOLATE!!!

Ten things John wants to do before he dies:

1. I want to stand on the Great Wall of China with my wife Dawn.
2. I want to microlyte over the Victoria Falls.
3. I want to fly to Australia and back… first class!!!
4. I want to see my children grow to be all they were destined to be and be a hero for them all their lives.
5. I want to write lots more books and leave a legacy.
6. I want to give away £100,000 as a single gift (not over a lifetime).
7. I want to laugh every day and enjoy the journey.
8. I want to make a difference to someone’s life.
9. I want to make God’s name famous.
10. I want to live until I die!
